Veliki kamen, or as many call it — "On the stone", at Popovac, is one of those places local people have known since childhood. For years it's been the swimming spot where parents bring their children, even the smallest ones, and where generations have spent their summers.
The water here is just right — small waterfalls, rocks to jump from, and several ways into the water. A lively place, cheerful, full.
What waits for you
Besides the grassy stretch where you can spread out a towel, the area is also lined with stone, right along the water. That's why we call it Veliki amen — the Big Stone. There's room here for everyone, and it's best for a day full of water, jumping, and children's laughter.
If it's quiet you're after, that lies downstream toward Jambrić. But if you want a lively swimming spot with character, one that carries its own history, Veliki kamen is exactly that. And from the forest right beside it, a path sets off toward Glavica, for anyone who feels like a longer autumn walk.
